Security Guard Tactical Shirt
First off, I did not make this shirt entirely from scratch. i took an existing, cheap dress shirt from Walmart and altered and added to it to make it into a tactical uniform shirt. Although I had uniform shirts in stock, all of them were short-sleeved and this actor had extensive tattoos covering both fore-arms. rather than spend the 40+ dollars for a new one, I made this in a matter of hours. Several identical shirts had been purchased from Wal-Mart for a previous show; I used one for the body of the shirt and I cut the sleeves off another ...making it into a short sleeve shirt so I could still keep it in stock...to use the fabric for the the pockets and the badge reinforcement tab. I stitched the pin-tucks and the box pleat in the back. I used scraps of an old black bed sheet for the epaulets and pocket flaps. The patches I had in stock. I spent no money making this shirt.
